Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Permissions are obtained for the material borrowed from another source such as (Figures, Tables, Photographs, etc.) and the original source is cited properly.
  • The manuscript is an original work and does not violate any rights of other.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  • The text is 1.15-spaced; uses an 11-point font; and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • Please enter 3 to 5 potential reviewers in the box "Comments for the Editor" below, (Names, Affiliations, E-mails, and Areas of Expertise).
  • By uploading my work to this journal, I am aware that the Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication.

Author Guidelines

A title should be the fewest possible words that accurately describe the content of the paper (Justify, Bold, 16pt, Sentence case)

These instorctions are valid from January 2022.

The abstract should state briefly the research purpose, applied research method, principal results and major conclusions.

Recommended article structure (not mandatory) is as follows: 1. Introductions, 2. Method, 3. Results and discussion, 4. Conclusions, Declarations, References.

The font of the abstract and the rest of the manuscript should be in Times New Roman, 11-pt.

1.        Introduction (11 pt, Sentence case)

State the objectives of the work and provide an adequate background, relevant literature review but avoid a detailed literature survey or a summary of the results.

If needed, make subdivision for each section as follows.

2.        Research method (11 pt, Sentence case)

Provide sufficient detail to allow the work to be reproduced. Methods already published should be indicated by a reference: only relevant modifications should be described.

3.        Results and discussion (11 pt, Sentence case)

Results should be clear and concise. Discussion should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. Avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature.

Separate sections as Results section and as Discussion section is appropriate as well.

4.        Conclusions (11 pt, Sentence case)

The main conclusions of the study may be presented in a short Conclusions section, which may stand alone or form a subsection of a Discussion or Results and discussion section.

Declaration of competing interest (11 pt, Sentence case)

If any of the authors has any financial and non-financial competing interest, they must be declared in this section.

In case of no competing interests, the following statement you may use:

"The authors declare that they have no known financial or non-financial competing interests in any material discussed in this paper."

Funding information (11 pt, Sentence case)

In this section all sources of funding for the research should be declared.

In case of no funding, the following statement you may use:

“No funding was received from any financial organization to conduct this research.”

Acknowledgements (11 pt, Sentence case) (Optional)

Collate acknowledgements in a separate section at the end of the article before the references and do not, include them on the title page, as a footnote to the title or otherwise. List here those institutions or individuals who provided help during the research.

Author contribution (11 pt, Sentence case) (optional)

Each author’s name must appear in this statement (a name can appear multiple times).

Example of statement

“The contribution to the paper is as follows: X. Author, Y. Author: study conception and design; Y. Author: data collection; X. Author, Y. Author. Z. Author: analysis and interpretation of results; X. Author: draft preparation. All authors approved the final version of the manuscript.”

Ethical approval statement (11 pt, Sentence case) (mandatory for studies with human or animal subjects)

Research involving human or animal subjects must be approved by an appropriate ethics committee and declared in this section. The statement must include the name of the ethics committee and the reference number (if appropriate), in all manuscripts involving human/animal subjects. That includes data obtained from surveys, observation, medical records, or participation in research. If an exemption from requiring ethics approval is granted, it should be reported including the name of the ethics committee that granted that exemption.

Example of statement

“Research ethics approval was obtained by the Ethical approval to report this case was obtained from * name of the ethics committee (reference number / ID) *.”


“Our institution does not require research ethics approval for reporting individual cases or case series.”


“Ethical approval is not applicable for this research.”

Informed consent (11 pt, Sentence case) (mandatory for studies with human or animal subjects)

Research that includes any personal data such as images, personal details, or the other distinguishing characteristic, must have written consent for publication from that person or legal guardian. Written consent is not required if the manuscript does not contain images that could identify a person and other information is anonymized. If images are reused from previous publications, authors must provide appropriate attribution for republished images. In this case, the journal will assume that the original publication obtained the consent for publication. In case of involvement client-owned animals in research, authors must have informed consent from the owner.

Example of statement

“Informed consent for the publication of personal data in this article was obtained from the participant(s).”


“Informed consent for the publication of personal data in this article was not obtained because *REASON*.”


Declaration of use of AI in the writing process (11 pt, Sentence case) (mandatory if an AI tool is used)

If AI tools are used in the manuscript writing, the authors must declare it in the Materials and Methods or write a declaration at the end of the paper before References. The declaration must state which AI tool was used and the reason. Therefore, the following format of the statement is suggested:

“The author(s) used [NAME AI TOOL USED] during preparation of this work to [REASON]. The author(s) reviewed and edited the work as necessary and take(s) full responsibility for the final version.”


References (11 pt, Sentence case)

Provide here reference list in IEEE format. To prepare a reference list and citations a reference manager must be used (Mendeley Reference Manager is highly suggested).

Appendices (11 pt, Sentence case) (Optional)

If there is more than one appendix, they should be identified as A, B, etc.



Use of word-processing software

It is important that the file is saved in the native format of the word processor used. The text should be in single-column format. Keep the layout of the text as simple as possible. To avoid unnecessary errors, you are strongly advised to use the 'spell-check' and 'grammar-check' functions of your word processor. Prepare your paper in A4 format, use the A4 settings.

Times New Roman 11-pt, is the preferred font with 1.15 spacing.

Margins: top = 0.9 inch, bottom = 0.9 inch, sides = 0.75-inch, single column.


Author names and affiliations

Where the family name may be ambiguous (e.g., a double name), please indicate this clearly. Present the authors' affiliation addresses (where the actual work was done) below the names. Indicate all affiliations with a lower-case superscript letter immediately after the author's name and in front of the appropriate address. Provide the full postal address of each affiliation, including the country name and, if available, the e-mail address of each author.

Online submission

Online submission is required; thus, authors should be registered in the OJS publishing system.

Text headings

The primary text heading should be numbered by 1., 2., ... and should be in 11-pt., bold, flush left with margin. The spacing from text to the next heading is 6pt.

Subdivision - numbered sections

Divide your article into clearly defined and numbered sections. Subsections should be numbered 1.1 (then 1.1.1, 1.1.2, ...), 1.2, etc. and should be in 11-pt., bold, upper, and lower-case letters. The heading is flush left with margin (the abstract is not included in section numbering). Use this numbering also for internal cross-referencing: do not just refer to 'the text'. Any subsection may be given a brief heading. Each heading should appear on its own separate line.

Figures, Tables, Equations etc.

All figures, tables and photos must be clear and sharp. Examples of figure and table numbering as well as captions are given below.

Position figures and tables at the tops and bottoms of columns.  Avoid placing them in the middle of columns. Large figures and tables may span across both columns. Figure captions should be center aligned below the figures; table captions should be center aligned above the table. Avoid placing figures and tables before their first mention in the text. Use the abbreviation “Fig. 1,” or “Figure 1,” and “Table 1,” even at the beginning of a sentence.

Figure axis labels are often a source of confusion. Use words rather than symbols.


Use Equations Editor to prepare your equations. Number equations consecutively with equation numbers in parentheses flush with the right margin, as in (1). Punctuate equations with commas or periods when they are part of a sentence, as in

Right after equation here define equation symbols and their units. Use “(1),” not “Eq. (1)” or “equation (1),” except at the beginning of a sentence: “Equation (1) is …”

Abbreviations and acronyms

Define abbreviations and acronyms the first time they are used in the text, even if they have been defined in the abstract. Abbreviations such as IEEE, SI, MKS, CGS, ac, dc, and rms do not have to be defined. Do not use abbreviations in the title unless they are unavoidable.

References and citations

Reference list should be in 11-pt., Times New Roman font normal. The IEEE citation style is preferred. Number the citations consecutively in square brackets [1]. Punctuation follows the bracket, or for more references or by [1], [2], [5]. Refer simply to the reference number, as in [3].  Use “Ref. [3]” or “Reference [3]” at the beginning of a sentence: “Reference [3] was the first …”

Number footnotes separately in superscripts.  Place the actual footnote at the bottom of the column in which it was cited.  Do not put footnotes in the reference list.

Papers that have not been published, even if they have been submitted for publication, should be cited as “unpublished” [4]. Papers that have been accepted for publication should be cited as “in press” [5]. In a paper title, capitalize the first word and all other words except for conjunctions, prepositions less than seven letters, and prepositional phrases.

For papers published in translated journals, first give the English citation, then the original foreign-language citation [6].

The main references are international journals and proceedings. All references should be to the most pertinent and up-to-date sources. References are written in IEEE style. Please use a consistent format for references – see examples below (11 pt):
